The Northern Dales’ Mission Statement:
To raise awareness of the close connections of Richard III, Duke of Gloucester, with Barnard Castle and the surrounding area, to undertake research into these connections, and to promote public engagement of both residents and visitors with the town and locality’s medieval history. This is done through research, talks, and events.
